Initial recommended regional water plans: May 2011 consultation documents
This page identifies the earlier consultation-stage documents associated with the first regional planning cycle. They are separate from the adopted editions. Nine of the ten exact initial-plan files have been recovered; the Middle Ocmulgee consultation file remains missing.
The table links directly to the earlier-version section of each regional guide. That section explains which original is available and provides its external archive link. The main description on each guide concerns the September edition, so do not attribute it to the May version without checking the original.

How to choose the right edition
Use the edition named by the publication you are checking. A consultation-stage document records initial recommendations; the September file records the later plan. This site does not assume that their recommendations, figures or wording are identical. If a citation names a file that has not been recovered, request that exact edition from the official program rather than silently substituting another one.
The old initial_recommended_regional_water_plans.php address changed its contents over time. A May 2011 archive capture linked to consultation-stage PDFs, while an August 2014 capture linked to the adopted files. The date of the citing page can therefore help identify the intended edition.
