Document library

Find an independent description of a historical planning document, then follow the links to its original source or preserved copy. The library organizes editions explicitly so that an old citation can be followed without confusing a consultation document with a later plan.

Regional plans: September 2011

The adopted-plan collection contains ten document guides. Each provides a scope description, regional context, research uses, a reading route and external access links.

Statewide overview

Georgia's Water Future in Focus describes EPD's December 2011 overview of the regional planning cycle. It provides a useful introduction before reading a detailed regional plan.

Finding a current edition

Use the official regional plan catalog. The historical collection is not a statement that the 2011 documents remain the applicable current editions. Later documents discussed in our research articles are linked to their own sources.

If you are unsure which region applies, start with the region guide. If you have the right document but need help reading its findings, use the practical reading guide.
